DIRECTIONS

From M62, M61, M6, M66 (M60)

Take Bury exit and turn at roundabout towards Bury. Go straight on past a park on your left.

Continue on this road (Rochdale Road) until you come to a major roundabout where you can see a large multi level car park opposite. Go straight across. You are directed left towards the town centre ignore this. The road will then bend to the right and you will pass Wilkinsons store on your left.

At the next lights turn Left onto a dual carriageway. You will pass a shopping complex on your right which includes Tesco.

At the second lights take the slip road left which takes you onto another dual carriageway, and then turn immediately left again signposted ‘Town Centre’– that is Bolton Street.

Do not miss this turn into the town centre or you will find yourself travelling towards Manchester. You will see Inwood House - an office building predominantly blue with a digital time and temperature reading on the top.  You need to be turning at this building.

*We are half way up Bolton Street opposite the entrance to the Castle Leisure Centre. You will pass an old green tiled building which is a snooker hall, an entrance to some new flats and then a block of shops, the first one being Printing.com.

At the end of that block you will see some wrought iron gates leading into a courtyard. We are there.

From Bolton direction

Take the main road into Bury until you come to the dual carriage way with RRG on your right.

Take the left lane and when it splits take the right.

Turn right and immediately turn left off the dual carriageway signposted ‘Town Centre’ and that is Bolton Street. Follow directions from* above.

From Manchester direction

Follow the main road into Bury.

Near the centre you will come to a fork in the road separated by triangular shaped gardens and a white clock tower. Take the left fork.

Turn left onto the dual carriageway but stay in the right lane.

The lane forks and you need to take the right form and turn right in front of a blue office building which has a display of the time and temperature. You are now on Bolton street.

Parking

During the day you can park for limited periods on the street if you are lucky enough to find space. However if you have an appointment for an hour or over you should pay for parking well in excess of that to allow for running over etc.

The cheapest place is behind the Castle Leisure which means taking the first right when you get onto Bolton Street and then the first left. Walk past the entrance to the Leisure Centre and we are directly across the road.

During the evening you can usually find somewhere directly outside to park and all parking is free after 6pm.
